Press Release

Since 2002, form, function, and process have been the keys to Carol Egan's extraordinary furniture. Her unique process allows for discovery and creation, for new methods and techniques that expand the possibilities inherent in the natural materials she holds dear. Her body of work is, nonetheless, a defense of time-honed craftsmanship. It is also something more: a celebration of the beauty in spatial relations.

Carol Egan's current show, featuring new, groundbreaking work, as well as beloved pieces created over the past decade, opened originally at the Elizabeth Collective, is now at Maison Gerard's Greenwich Village location, 43 East 10th Street, and is open Monday - Friday, from 10am to 6pm.
