This elegant, extendable conference table was created by Maxime Old in 1971 for the Port Autonome de Marseille on the Rue Cognacq-Jay. The sophisticated piece is remarkable for its forms -- its broad, square, wooden top, its nimble, airy base of shimmering, anodized aluminum, and the lower level of wood shelving this base partially hides.
