Custom-made for the private apartment of Mr. Pierre Deshayes, the last CEO of Jansen, 5 Rue Vanneau, 75007 Paris, France.  It was executed under his supervision by the ateliers of Maison Jansen, then located on Rue Saint-Sabin, in the 11th Arrondissement, Paris.  The fireplace surround was later sold by the last owner of the apartment, Madame de Verilhe, in 1998.
