One of a series of beautiful, lobed vases created by American designer Laura Kirar in collaboration with 5th-generation artisans in Michoacan, Mexico. To create these remarkable pieces, raw copper is heated and hand hammered into shape before adding texture or rubbing smooth. At last each piece is either polished or plated in a silver wash, and braised to take its final form. Each fragile piece represents over one hundred hours of work.
Bears a maker's mark.
