Kiko Lopez

Kiko Lopez is one of the few artisans working today in the traditional craft of églomisé. With this abstract composition of marvelously arranged rectanglar mirrors, presented not merely on a single plane, but on two,  Lopez exhibits his mastery of the near-forgotten practise, as well as his dedication to employing age old methods to create singular and innovative works of art. The result, in this particular case, is a luminous work of great depth and color, one that plays singularly with the observer's sense of space and time.
