Zelouf & Bell’s Serpent in the Maze champagne cart is a marvel of craftsmanship, of lush materials used in perfect concert with one another. Built on a steel frame, the piece features twin levels clad in muted shagreen. Each is topped in an elaborate, engrossing green maze motif, and the bottom features the image of a snake, rendered in marquetry, slithering out and over the maze in a series of concentric circles.
