Irish sculptor Niamh Barry is inspired by natural forms, and she often conveys human motion with ellipses of fluid, sinuous lines (similar to those used in rapid anatomical drawings) that shed the rigidity of symmetrical geometries. She further conveys motion with the ever-shifting sheen of mirror-polished bronze, and above all else, with the warm light of LEDs as filtered through opal glass.
