This pair of Marhaba armchairs is a contemporary edition of the chair the renowned designer Maxime Old designed in the early 1950s. First presenting it to the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1952, he designed a model for the Marhaba hotel in Casablanca which gave it its name. Today, re-editioned under the supervision of gallerist Anne Jacquemin Sablon, the generously proportioned club chair blends old world glamour and contemporary luxury.
