Height: 12" -Width: 19.75" - Depth: 15.75"
Osanna Visconti’s body of work encompasses art, design, and sculpture, channeling the expressive potential of bronze through instinctive and nature-inspired forms. Each piece, whether it be a chandelier, table or candleholder, is handcrafted as a singular object using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, a process dating back over 6,000 years.
From her workbench in Milan, Osanna brings each piece to life by sculpting and molding the wax by hand until the desired shape has been realized. Tableware, objects and home furnishings, each and every one characterized by her signature textures and organic materials, all start as an element found in nature, Osanna’s enduring inspiration.
“In the quietude of a walk in the woods, my attention is captured by a leaf, a flower, a fallen branch. One out of hundreds. I select it and collect it. It’s a gift from nature that I celebrate through my creative spirit and then freeze in time by transforming it into a piece of bronze.”
