This trio of cylindrical, diagonally ribbed vases comes from one of the Art Nouveau's great masters, the French artist Émile Gallé.  The pieces, executed in one his preferred mediums, enameled glass, depict thistles in muted reds and browns, and rest upon scalloped bases.
