Jean-Bérenger de Nattes
Following the great tradition of fine French ébénistes,
Jean-Bérenger de Nattes
creates pieces that are beautifully conceived, meticulously
crafted and exquisitely finished. He utilizes the finest veneers, bold
lacquers and twenty-four carat gilt bronze to achieve these works.
Building on his great love and knowledge of art history, and inspired
by extensive travels throughout Asia, Europe and Africa, he designs
furniture that is at once bold and elegant.
Jean-Bérenger draws on the invaluable experience of living with and coming to
know intimately works by some of the most celebrated designers of the
18th through the 20th centuries, including Weisweiler, B.V.R.B., Sue
& Mare, and Armand Albert Rateau. Providing inspiration from an early
age, this important first hand knowledge has allowed him to understand
more keenly the subtleties and nuances of great design.
Jean-Bérenger de Nattes, who has spent many years designing for and
working with private clients and Interior designers, has now turned
his focus to designing and executing these unique pieces that we are
pleased to present.
