Description

Medium: Four fiber shells, lacquered polyester, methacrylate floor, leatherette

Dimensions: 70.75 in diameter

Fifteen editions of this design were fabricated by Les Plastiques de Bourgogne. Vidili, a successful French architect and designer, created the sphere in order to stimulate creativity by isolating the occupant; to drive him or her to self reflection by retreating to a place of comfort and bare simplicity.
